About Us
Pundit Academy is a leading In-Person and Online tutoring centre with several tutoring locations spread across Jakarta. Pundit Academy provides tutoring for Primary Years following international curricula such as IPC, PYP and Cambridge Primary as well as Secondary Years following international curricula such as IB MYP, IB Diploma, IGCSE, Edexcel and AP. We also provide University/College Entrance test preparation such as SAT, ACT, GED and AST. Our highly educated and experienced tutors, coupled with state-of-the-art tutoring centres, facilities and services support the learning needs of students thereby giving them the skills and confidence needed to succeed.
What We Offer
At Pundit Academy for Primary Years, we offer subjects based on the following curricula:
International Primary Curriculum (IPC)
The IPC is International Primary Curriculum for children aged 5 – 11 years old. It is a comprehensive, thematic, creative curriculum, with a clear process of learning and specific learning goals for every subject. It also develops international mindedness and encourages personal learning.
Primary Years Programme (PYP)
The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme is an educational programme managed by the International Baccalaureate for students in their primary years. The PYP challenges students to think for themselves and take responsibility for their learning as they explore local and global issues and opportunities in real-life contexts.
Cambridge Primary Curriculum
Cambridge Primary starts learners on an exciting educational journey. Typically for 5 to 11 year olds. It develops young learners who are confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged and includes assessment that proves and improves learning.
Tutoring Subjects
Mathematics
Our Mathematics tutoring programmes follow the IPC, PYP, and Cambridge Primary curricula. Our tutors will follow the curriculum depending on what is being taught at the child’s school. Our tutors will introduce to children the concepts, skills and thinking strategies that are essential in everyday life and support learning across the curriculum.
Sciences
Our Sciences tutoring programmes follow the IPC, PYP, and Cambridge Primary curricula. Our tutors will follow the curriculum depending on what is being taught at the child’s school. Our tutors will nurture their curiosity and allow them to ask questions and develop the skills they need to answer those questions.
English Language
Our English Language tutoring programmes follow the IPC, PYP, and Cambridge Primary curricula. Our tutors will follow the curriculum depending on what is being taught at the child’s school. Our tutors will help the children to communicate confidently and effectively. A child can also benefit from our English Language tutoring programme by gaining increased problem-solving abilities.
Home & Online Tutoring
Home Tutoring
With home tutoring our tutors can better understand a child’s learning ability, able to assess a child’s growth, performance, and help in areas where he/she lags behind. The child will also experience a safe and comfortable learning environment.
Online Tutoring
With online tutoring sessions, our tutors can provide specific feedback to the parent/guardian after every study session. The child will also experience a safe and comfortable learning environment. Our tutors either use Zoom or Google Meet to enrich the teaching and learning experience.
One-on-One Tutoring
Children will receive an individualized learning experience that they can’t always get in a classroom setting. Children will be more focused and engaged in the lesson, thereby allowing them to use their time more efficiently.
Private Group Tutoring
Children are placed into small group classes where our tutor works through the weaknesses of each child individually. Private group tutoring provides an environment free of distractions, with fewer children and disruptions around, making it easier for them to focus on the the topic being taught.
